The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 at Yas Marina Circuit served as the dramatic conclusion to the Formula 1 season, drawing a global audience to witness the culmination of a year of intense competition.   

As one of the most highly coveted events on the F1 calendar, it attracted fans, celebrities, and industry leaders from around the world, underlining its status as a pinnacle of motorsport entertainment.  

Yas Marina Circuit, renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and iconic waterfront setting, provided the perfect stage for a premier event, blending thrilling on-track action with exceptional hospitality.

TGP International developed and managed a comprehensive hospitality solution tailored to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix's dynamic Las Vegas-inspired theme.   

Operating two Heineken-branded bars, a themed food truck, and a Pizza Hut outlet at the North Grandstand, the team delivered an integrated experience that seamlessly aligned with the event's vibrant energy.  

Menu curation drew from TGP International's extensive experience at large-scale events with offerings selected for their quick preparation times, operational efficiency, and alignment with audience preferences.   

Burgers, wings, and BBQ chicken pizzas were standout items, while the Heineken bars provided a premium beverage selection, including exclusive VIP table service.  

Highlights

Hospitality operations at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix were shaped by the event's scale and complexity, requiring careful planning and adaptability.   

Over 900 freshly prepared meals were served to Ethara staff, demonstrating effective coordination of large-scale catering logistics alongside guest service operations.

During peak hours, the team implemented pre-prepared food strategies, significantly reducing wait times and ensuring consistent quality across all outlets.

The use of innovative service flows further enhanced operational efficiency. At the Pizza Hut outlet, pre-loaded bases expedited preparation, while a unique kitchen order ticket system for the food truck streamlined order handling, ensuring accurate and timely service.   

These measures not only improved throughput but also maintained the highest standards of guest satisfaction. 
 
The coinciding UAE National Day celebrations presented a unique opportunity, requiring seamless coordination of resources and extended service hours. As the sole F&B provider operating during this period, we managed increased footfall effectively, ensuring uninterrupted service while meeting guest expectations. This experience offered valuable insights into managing overlapping high-profile events with efficiency and adaptability.
