COP28 Presidential Dinner at Expo City Dubai

During COP28 at Expo City Dubai, a distinguished dinner was held to honour Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva during his official visit to Dubai, UAE.  

Hosted in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, the event brought together key dignitaries and global leaders in a celebration of diplomatic and environmental collaboration. 

TGP Catering played an integral role throughout this occasion and the wider COP28 event, contributing to its ethos of world-class standards in sustainable dining and hospitality.  

THE CONCEPT 

TGP Catering was tasked with creating a memorable dining experience for 500 VIP guests, including presidents, prime ministers, ambassadors, and other dignitaries.   

The dinner, held at the mesmerising Surreal water feature at Expo City Dubai, required seamless execution within a themed environment.

 

A key element of the concept was a culinary collaboration with Brazilian chefs, ensuring an authentic and representative menu showcasing the best of Brazilian cuisine. 

Beyond the cuisine, the event called for bespoke furniture and table arrangements to reflect the significance of the occasion and the distinguished guests in attendance.

HIGHLIGHTS 

In close collaboration with Brazilian chefs who travelled to Dubai for the event, a menu was curated that celebrated the vibrant flavours of Brazil.

The menu featured authentic Brazilian dishes, prepared with fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients, reflecting the summit's focus on environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

The culinary experience, featuring bespoke mocktails with Brazilian flavours and ingredients, was complemented by Brazilian-themed entertainment, creating a cohesive and immersive cultural experience for the dignitaries and guests.
